Our Design Approach
Our approach was rooted in deep respect for the building’s identity. Rather than erasing its history, we traced its original elements — structural details, proportions, and the rhythms of the existing architecture — and wove new materials around them. Carpet, wallpaper, and furniture were selected to complement the building’s character without feeling nostalgic or dated.
We focused heavily on creating a variety of workspace types within the available square footage. Beautiful sitting areas encourage informal collaboration, while small individual conference rooms provide the acoustic privacy essential for remote meetings and Zoom calls. The wallpaper selections throughout add the visual richness that makes spending a full workday in this space genuinely pleasurable. The design is built for a hybrid workforce — one that needs to engage offline with colleagues in person and online with clients around the world simultaneously. Every square foot was planned to support that dual reality, making this a truly current office within a century-old shell.
